Seed treatment
Seed treatment can affect seed weight and sowing rate. There are two main types of seed treatment - a film coating (e.g. Agricote Grass) which has little effect on seed weight or sowing rate; and a lime-based seed coating (e.g. Agricote Clover) that has a significant weight build up and increases seed weight and sowing rates (see Seed treatment comparison for more.)
